What Is The Ordering Process?

The Basics

After you’ve selected your items and added them to your cart, you’ll be asked to select the organization you’d like your order to benefit. Five percent of all profits are donated to one of several worthy comics-related organizations. After making that selection, you can check out. 

Once we receive your order, we’ll make sure your selected items are in stock and confirm / ship your order. The inventory counts on this website should be 90%+ accurate, but we also sell items on other platforms.

 

Comic Book Bags & Boards

All comics and magazines ship with bags and backing boards.

Newsstand vs. Direct Editions of Comic Books

We are not currently differentiating between newsstand and direct editions of comic books unless there's a significant difference between the editions (value, artwork, cover enhancements, etc). If you have a preference, you can let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your choice. 

Pricing Errors

We do our best to ensure our pricing is correct, but if we notice an egregious error, we will contact you about your order prior to processing it. 


Canceled items

If there is a need to cancel an item from your order because it was unavailable or there was a pricing error, we’ll do our best to find a replacement for you. We’ll always confirm a change with you before sending out your order.


Want-List Items Not Listed 

We’re adding new items daily. If there’s something specific you’re looking for and it’s not listed, just contact us. We’ll let you know if we have it in stock or if we can track it down for you.



Shipping

How Is My Order Sent?

We primarily use USPS, but sometimes FedEx or UPS make more sense depending on the size of the order. Shipments typically take 1-2 days to process. Packages are sent with tracking, but other than what is included with USPS Priority Mail, insurance is not included by default.

If you would like your package insured, please inquire about pricing.

 

Why is the shipping cost so high?

Once we've been up and going for a while, one of the first new features we'll implement is a more granular shipping price table. At the moment, Shopify only allows us to tier shipping based on weight or total price. 

Currently, our shipping rates are:

$0 - $49.99 in cart - $9.99 Shipping
$50 - $99.99 in cart - $5.99 Shipping
$100+ in cart - Free Shipping

 

What Are Your Grading Standards?

We use a combination of the CGC and Overstreet standards for grading comics. Our NM comics are believed to be above a 9.2, but if there’s any question at all, we’ll conservatively drop it to NM-, VF/NM or VF


Everything else is case by case, but we’ll include as many details and photos as we can on the item listing.



Do You Accept Returns?

If you’re not satisfied with your order, please contact us immediately. If we made an error, we’ll do everything we can to fix it.


If you were sent the wrong item, we’ll work with you to replace or refund. If your item was misgraded, we’ll either replace the item or compensate you for the difference in grading, whichever makes more sense in that case.
